East Midlands Emerging Leaders Forum

The East Midlands Emerging Leaders Forum is chaired by Nicola Hope, and kindly hosted by Futures Housing Group. This ella forum specifically caters for Emerging Leaders of both the charitable and commercial sector.
Over the past few months ella forums Leadership Development Programme has been through a period of change to meet the needs of our members, we are running all our meetings virtually and in addition now have monthly speaker sessions when all the forums come together.
This small, diverse group of Emerging leaders, who meet on a regular basis once a month, create a network of impartial advisors to each other. The meetings are either a peer network session or a speaker session. The peer network sessions are expertly facilitated and include time for ‘action learning’ – members of the group bring an opportunity, challenge or issue to the session and together, through a structured process, the opportunity, challenge or issue is explored and possible solutions generated. The speaker sessions are available to members of all of the ella forums nationwide and are led by experts on the topics identified as being of interest and relevance to members. Example topics: Brand strategy; Building resilience; Becoming a better leader; Being human in a virtual world; Planning for COVID-19; and Fundraising.
Supporting leaders has never been more important. We know from the leaders who have been attending our virtual forums that the opportunity to learn and share together is still having a huge impact.
