We are looking forward to our All Group Forum on the 12th April which will see over 80 Chief Executives and Emerging Leaders from charities and social enterprises come together for a day of learning and sharing. The Forum is being kindly hosted by long-term ella supporters, CCLA and will run from 9am to 4pm.
We are honoured to have Mark Fisher CBE, Director of the Office for Civil Society and Innovation opening the Forum with a talk on ‘The need for trustee and leadership training’.
Simon Hayward will then be taking our main speaker slot of the morning and presenting to the group on Connected Leadership; a practice that we have adopted at ella and feel that all of our leaders will find invaluable. After lunch we are trialing a new format for the afternoon session; there will be a panel discussion on “What should be expected of boards in ensuring that their organisations are delivering against needs?”. The panel will consist of Nigel Rothband, Alan Sanders, John Williams, Mike Burnage, Paul Anderson Walsh, all of whom have a wealth of experience in issues to do with governance and trustees. Please click here to submit a question to the panel.
We much look forward to seeing all of our members on the day. Any Third Sector leaders interested in attending this day and finding out more about ella should contact Phil Thompson, Director of Membership on email@example.com
